They are almost the same as the legacy ones but they do electrical damage. These are sold in stores and friendly to humans. They are really dangerous and unlike human husks, can break doors and hatches. The fetus will eventually mature into a baby crawler. Crawlers are clumsier and some of them might be pregnant. Tiger Threshers now attack in a similar fashion to sharks and won’t let go of their prey unless killed or scared away. They are smaller and weaker but they attack with their tentacles instead, which makes them a lot more deadly. Added a new type of Moloch, Cave Molochs. They don’t suffer organ damage of any kind. Edited Molochs so they have natural bioluminescence. Replaced Tool boxes with Toolbelts, which means one can be carried at a time to avoid inventory abuse. Ported the Guitar and Harmonica tunes from legacy. Uranium, Thorium, Incendium and Fulgurium. Nuclear weapons now require one of 4 different warheads to work. Renamed Diving Suits to Exosuits and they will now protect against most damage types. Added a two piece hazmat suit that protects against radiation damage. Reactor Meltdowns with cause different damage types depending on the type of fuel rods inside. All but fulgurium will turn into spent rods and cause radiation damage. Added incendium fuel rods and edited the other 2 rods. Edited Shotguns and added 2 more ammo types for it, including a less lethal ammo type. It uses a magazine with 15 rounds and can be used in one hand but it’s less powerful. Revolver is now a two-handed weapon and can use a different ammo type. It replaces the Flamer and works like a plasma cutter but to kill characters. They slightly help with cold and psychosis at the cost of lung damage and oxygen in the current room. Abusing chems will eventually deteriorate organs as a way to stop people from using all the meds. Some creatures can infect characters with minor parasites thru different methods. Added more alcoholic beverages and reworked the drunk affliction.

Ported food items and the cooking station plus other food related objects, such as refrigerators and food cans. Hunger is not fatal but it affects movement speed.

Humans and most creatures will slowly get hungry over time. Cold is caused by vents, pumps, getting wet, etc, and heat is caused by powered junction boxes, working reactors and engines, fire, etc. These consist of two afflictions, cold and heat.

Renamed the Burn affliction to Thermal Burn and added a new one, Electric Burn, which affects mostly internal organs. They all cause different issues if left untreated for long. Head Trauma, Chest Trauma and Internal Damage for legs and arms. Split the Internal Damage affliction into 3. Most of them are fatal and are indirectly caused by other afflictions. Here’s a list of some of the features in the mod: For now, only a handful of the features from the legacy version have been ported into this version but it’s still a lot.

This mod expands the contents in Barotrauma by adding new items, monsters, afflictions and editing existing content plus some other misc edits. The mod can also be found in the discord, pinned in the Mod-Talk channel. I work on it everytime I get free time, which isn’t much but I’ll keep the link always updated.

The steam version of the mod cannot be updated for some reason so I’ll keep a download link for it just below… at least for now. Do not subscribe to this mod, since it’s outdated and will cause issues.
